ABOUT OUR WORSHIP

- We have three Sunday morning services at Eureka UMC:

8:00 am a traditional communion service
9:15 am a contemporary service
10:30 am a traditional service

- All three worship services follow a basic outline of biblical worship:

- We Gather for worship; coming from different places and experiences, we come together to experience the presence of God in our midst.

- We lift our voices in Song to praise God and to open our hearts to God's presence.

- We Pray to God as a gathered community for guidance, wisdom and strength.

- We Offer to God our gifts as an act of gratitude and a commitment to support the church's work in the world. (Visitors should not feel obligated to participate in the offering).

- We Hear the Word of God together as the Bible is read and the message Spoken

.- We Commune with God through the sacrament of communion. Everyone is invited to partake and receive the grace of God.

- We Affirm our faith in God and our belief in God's presence in this world.

- We Go Forth committed to building God's Kingdom through our words and actions.
