What is UTX?
UTX is the new name for the high school and middle school stu-dent ministries at EUMC! UTX stand for ―under the cross. Why under the cross‘? It‘s at the cross that God restored our relationship to Him through Jesus! We are planning to offer t-shirts and hoodies with the new UTX logo, the first of these will be offered at the retreats!
Join us for a fun evening of fun and enter-tainment featuring…YOU! That's right, this is a talent show where YOU and your friends can share your talents…singing, playing a musical instrument, juggling poo-dles, comedy, etc.! This event will be on Sunday, February 26th from 6-8pm in our main worship center and EVERYONE is in-vited to attend. We'll have some emcee's, some 'color commentary' from our panel of judges, and people will vote for their favorite acts with cans. Yes, we're asking everyone to cast their votes with a can (or cans) to be donated to the Eureka Food Pantry. This will be a combined high school and mid high event. The two youth bands Laminin and Midnight Prayer will anchor the evening's performances. We'll be holding au-ditions for this event during Adren-aline and the mid high UTX 'afterschool' times beginning on February 7th.
Passion Painter on 'Passion' Sunday: Join us on Sunday, April 1st from 6-8pm for an amazing evening of worship with 'midnight prayer' and Andy Raines, the Passion Painter. Andy will be 'throwing the paint' on canvas and on the walls in the renovated UTX youth zone. Andy was here about two years ago, if you missed it then you'll want to be sure to be there this time!
Small groups: We now have two opportunities for Bible studies! Adrenaline continues to meet on Tuesdays from 6-8pm in the UTX zone and a new student led group begins this week meeting on Thursday evenings. Please contact Tim for more info on these!
Well this new group isn’t for newlyweds it’s hosted by newlyweds!! We are still working on a name for this new small group Bible study which will begin later this month, led by Ryan and Amanda Lewis! This new group will meet on Monday evenings, for more information please contact Ryan or Amanda on Facebook!
