14th annual chili cook off!

FREE ADMISSION FOR TASTING AND JUDGING!


The River at Eureka will hold its 14th annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, January 26th (no football, only the Pro Bowl) at the Timbers in Eureka from 4pm to 6pm.  Please come join in the fun, fellowship and great food …… Doors open at 3pm for set up.

How's your chili?  Do you have the best chili in Eureka?  To enter your chili, the fee is $10. Admission to and tasting of contest entries is FREE. What kind of chili do you have……. white chili, deer chili, beans or no beans chili? Bring your entry and your friends for support!  

You provide the chili (we suggest 2+ gallons), serving utensils, Crockpot or something to keep your chili warm and any other items such as cheese, crackers, etc.  We provide cups, bowls, and tasting spoons.

Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are judged by local judges (Dr. Patrick Feder, Police Chief Mike Wiegand and Fire Chief Greg Brown) and the People's Choice award is given to the person who raises the most cash donations at their table.  Every contestant will have a “free will” mason jar at their table where people can donate toward your chili.
