There will be three town hall style meetings scheduled in October for members and friends of EUMC to discuss the findings of the consultation team. This will be a Q & A format led by members of our Leadership Team. Childcare will be available during these meetings. The meetings will be held in the sanctuary of the church. The dates and times of the town hall meetings are:

Upcoming Sermon Series

"Found Faithful" will explore how individuals and communities are called to be faithful with little, with much, and with all that our generous God gives us. This series will include an emphasis on stewardship and will end on Sunday, November 19th with "Celebration Sunday", an opportunity for each of us to join together to commit a portion of the financial resources entrusted to us by God back into accomplishing his Mission in our community in 2018.  We hope you will join us on this wonderful journey of discovering the joy of being faithful!

"Found Faithful" October 29th
"Faithful in Little" November 5th
"Faithful in Much" November 12th
"Faithful with All" November 19th (Celebration Sunday)

We offer two distinct worship services on Sunday morning.
Our 9:45 am contemporary worship service includes modern Christian music led by 'midnight prayer', our amazing praise band. Our JAM (Jesus and Me) Children's Ministry also meets at 9:45 am for ages 3 years old through the fifth grade.

9:45 am Worship songs:
Your Grace Is Enough
Today Is The Day
10,000 Reasons
Doxology
This Is Amazing Grace

Our 8:30 am traditional worship service includes timeless Christian hymns led by our Chancel Choir; the same message is offered at both worship services

8:30 am hymns:
We Gather Together
I Want Jesus to Walk with Me
**Anthem ~ With a Heart of Faith
Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee

Childcare is available during both worship services in our newly renovated and professionally staffed nursery for children ages birth through 2 years old. We invite middle school and high school age youth to attend XP3 at 9:45 am (2nd and 4th Sundays of the month) or to join their families during the worship services on Sunday mornings.

We invite our first time guests to visit www.eurekaumc.org and click the "Are you a first time guest?" link near the top of the page.

See you on Sunday!

UPCOMING 2018 SERMON SERIES

deep love.jpg

The "Deep Love" sermon series

The "Deep Love" sermon series is dedicated to one of the most important things we can ever do: build healthy and God-honoring relationships. Although the series has particular relevance to couples, it does not exclude single adults and applies to everyone invested in establishing strong relationships. This series highlights four of the most important issues for building successful relationships:

·        January 21: Personality - because it's the best way to enhance empathy
·        January 28: Communication - because it's the lifeblood of love
·        February 4: Conflict - because everyone has friction
·        February 11: Adaptability - because even good relationships bump into bad things

This unique, church wide emphasis will include online relationship assessments, resources for couples, and some great resources for our Life Groups.

"The Final Week: A Lenten Series"  Lent/Easter 2018

lenton series.jpg

During Lent, we will consider the last seven days of Jesus life, one day per Sunday. We will explore the significance of each day, what it meant to Jesus, and what it means to us today. This unique journey towards Easter will be based on the Gospel of Mark and insights from "The Last Week" by Marcus Borg and Dominic Crossan.
