If you knew that you had just one week left to live, how would that shape your actions? How would you spend your time? With whom would you spend your time?
We will be exploring The Last Week of Jesus' life during Lent. We will look closely at his actions, where he went, and with whom he spent time with. We will consider what all of this meant 2,000 years ago and what it means to us today.
The Gospel of Mark will be our guide during this wonderful, day by day journey with Jesus, during this season of Lent. We will continue our Lenten journey this Sunday by exploring the events surrounding the last Tuesday of Jesus' life with a message titled "Are You Ready?" from the 13th chapter of Mark.
We offer three worship experiences on Sundays!
Our 9:45 am worship service includes modern Christian music led by our amazing praise team.

Proposition “E” Town Hall Meeting – March 5th at 7pm
Representatives from the Prop E task force will be at EUMC this coming Monday (March 5th) evening from 7pm to 8pm. So, if you want to learn what Prop “E” is and what it will do for the city of Eureka, please come and ask questions. The revenue from this tax will go only to the city of Eureka to fund major projects in the city which, due to their high cost, cannot be funded through normal budgeting. The three major projects are the Allenton bridge replacement, Flood mitigation, and the Police department building.
*Eureka United Methodist Church is not, and can not, endorse Proposition E in anyway. We are simply providing a meeting space for the Prop E Task Force to share details about the Proposition and to answer any questions that the residents of Eureka may have.

Flood Recovery Update: next mission Sat 10 March. Contact me if you want to help repair our flooded neighbors houses. Last month we helped George, a retiree, who has been flooded out twice in the last two years. Five of us turned out to put up wainscoating, patch and finish dry wall and run some new electric wires. George fortunately had flood insurance but he needed help renovating the house he and his wife lived in for a couple of decades. Larry (314) 753-9729

This Lenten season we challenge you to work as a family to save starving children’s lives!
You will be supporting the Feed My Starving Children 2018 MobilePack. Pack #1810-094AU
Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. The meals are shipped to food distribution partners who distribute them to children in greatest need around the world.
For more information please go to mpstl.org
How Your Family Can Help Feed A Hungry Child
1. Place a bowl, jar, or fun container on your kitchen table.
2. At every meal each family member places a quarter in the bowl. Each quarter provides more than one full meal for a child!
3. Continue to do this throughout Lent.
4. At Easter - count your quarters and write a check to Feed My Starving Children Pack #1810-094AU
5. Celebrate the fact that YOU helped save many children’s lives!
6. At $2.00 per day for the 40 days of Lent (total $80) your family will provide enough meals to feed one child for a full year.
Questions about this event may be directed to Patty Stevens at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
