Please come be the hands and feet of Christ in our community! Serve food or drinks, visit with guests, cook, clean up, etc. Most volunteer duties take less than 2 hours. You can also donate homemade desserts or funds to buy food and supplies.
Mission Dinners are held on the 3rd Monday of every month in the Fellowship Hall at Eureka United Methodist Church. We would love for you to come be a part of this mission ministry! To date, we have served over 15,000 MEALS!

Mission Dinner Information
Our monthly Mission Dinner provides a wonderful way for you and your family to serve others in our community. This dinner serves families we minister to through the Eureka Food Pantry and others in our community. We provide a full dinner at no charge to these amazing families! We typically serve several hundred meals during these dinners; there is plenty to do! This is a great way to serve others, to meet new people, and yes...we have fun, too!
Register here to serve at the Mission Dinner.
The Eureka Food Pantry serves numerous varieties of canned and non-perishable foods year-round fresh, locally grown produce in the summer and fall.
The Eureka Food Pantry is in the basement of EUMC (the south side of the building in the basement), but it is a community asset.

Adult Mission Trips
PANAJACHEL, GUATEMALA 2016
We just sent a great group of adults on a Mission trip to Guatemala in October 2016. We are currently planning a return trip on March 9-19, 2018!
The Mission Guatemala trip to Panajachel is scheduled for March 9-19, 2018 and is open to adults and youth 16 years and older (unless traveling with a parent). We have three 'fun' days build into the trip in addition to the 5 days of working side by side with the local people on projects that contribute to their community. Total cost is estimated to be $1800. A $100 deposit will reserve a spot on the 2018 team. An additional $800 will be due 12/1/17 with final payment due 1/24/18. Watch the bulletin for an informational meeting in August that will occur after 9:45am worship. In the meantime, start earning money for the trip by contacting Sally at email@example.com to sign up to package and sell bread on Sunday mornings.
For an overview of last year's work see 2016 Mission Trip.
Each member of last year's team returned with more than they gave.
"It was humbling to finally be the one giving help rather than just taking it. Probably my biggest take away was seeing these people who have nothing compared to me and yet they always has a smile on their face!"
-- Jonathan, member of 2016 team
"For me it was understanding I was finding my source of happiness in the wrong places."
-- Corey, member of the 2016 team

Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship these meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. EUMC typically sends several groups of youth and adults to pack meals at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manchester. To find out more about these mobile packing events, click here.
The most recent meal packing event (October 2016) was very successful! Over 700,00 meals were packaged! Check out where the meals were sent by reading the thank you letter from Feed My Starving Children recipients.
We will be partnering with Feed My Starving Children again in October 2017.
