NEW MEMBER CLASSES!

If you are ready to take the next step towards connection at The River at Eureka, please join us at the new member classes this Spring:

Sunday, March 12 @ 11:15 am - noon 

The new member class will be meeting in room 303. Pastor Tim and/or Pastor David will be sharing the Mission, Vision, and the core beliefs of The River at Eureka. You'll also learn about opportunities to grow in your faith through Life Groups, serving in the church and community, and the numerous ministries that are impacting our community for the sake of the Gospel. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.

We have another Crafturday scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9 am-11 am at the River (UPSTAIRS, in the commons area). Sandy White will be leading us in making some beautiful cards;. The cost is $10, payable to Sandy.

Not interested in doing the craft?… Bring your current project (quilting, crocheting, scrapbooking, painting, etc).

Sunday, April 7th is BAPTISM SUNDAY at The River at Eureka! If you'd like to be baptized, or if you'd like to remember your baptism on April 7th, please complete this brief Form.

Each table picks a popular tourist place, sports team, event, or family favorite to decorate your table and dress to match. Think, Zoo, Arch, Science Center, Baseball, Hockey, Restaurant, etc.

Wellspring Academy Microschool inaugural trivia night fundraiser on April 6th at 6:30 pm (doors open at 6 pm). There will be 6 trivia rounds,  50/50 drawing, and fun games between the rounds. Please consider gathering friends to fill a table and have a good time. If you desire for your family name or business to be highlighted consider sponsoring a round or a table.  

Remember to dress up and theme-decorate your table! Feel free to bring snacks and drinks.

Jesus gave us Holy Communion, a way to remember His sacrifice for all of us, during the Seder meal in the Upper Room on the night that He was betrayed. We invite you and your family to be immersed in this ancient meal and to gain an even deeper understanding of Holy Communion this coming Maundy Thursday on March 28, 2024 at 6 pm.

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! This FREE event will be taking place at Berry Park, on Sunday March 24th. There will be snacks, crafts, facepainting and more! The event begins at 1 pm, with the Egg Hunt starting at 1:30. All are welcome!

On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at 4pm, we will be travelling to the Enterprise Center to see some GREAT performers at Winter Jam!. No tickets are required, however, there is a $15 donation at the door. To see the line up, go to: Jamtour.

Now onto our next event! Mark your calendars because we have another Crafturday coming up on February 24th at 9am.  The weather this week is going to make you feel springy! Here is our craft. These are fairly large, about 14.5 x 11, not including a hanger. The cost will be $25 for supplies, and Jenny will bring all the pastel paints so you can customize however you'd like! Let Jenny know if you'd like to participate by replying to her via email or cell phone at 314-471-8853.

 Lastly, save the date for our March Crafturday on March 23rd when Ann will lead us through a beginner's sewing craft.

YOUTH SUMMER TRIP FUNDRAISER AT ALTOS CANTINA MEXICAN KITCHEN!

Do you need a little more spice in your life? Pull out your sombrero from storage! Enjoy some chips and salsa followed by a fajita, burrito, or enchilada, and maybe some fried ice cream when you’re done. Join our youth for a dining out experience at Altos Cantina Mexican Kitchen (located on 5th Street in Eureka) on February 22nd from 4 to 9 PM. 10% of all sales will go towards our youth mission trip to TEXAS in June.

Mark your calendars for some fellowship and down time after the hustle of the holidays. January 27th, 10am - noon (arrive at 9:45 to prepare; this class will take a full two hours) Bring your favorite snack share, grab a warm drink and get ready to paint on canvas. An artist will lead us through creating this adorable snowman. You can personalize it with your own colors and family name on its hat or scarf. All ages welcome!

Price decreases as people RSVP. Pay Renee Smola directly on January 21st when the final price is known. You must RSVP by January 20th. Seventeen people have already reserved their spot. There will be no refunds, if you RSVP, you will need to pay or get a replacement as supplies will be purchased for you.

5:30 pm -leave the church in van (arrive no later than 5:20pm).

6 pm- arrive Skyzone, check-in

6:30-8 pm - jump like crazy!

8:15 pm - eat pizza then head home

9 pm-arrive back at church

10 am - Candlelight Family Christmas Eve service including beautiful Christmas music led by our praise band, a special kid's message, and the timeless Christmas message about the birth of our Savior, Jesus.

5 pm - Candlelight Family Christmas Eve service including beautiful Christmas music led by our praise band, a special kid's message, and the timeless Christmas message about the birth of our Savior, Jesus.

On Sunday, December 17th at our 10:00 AM service, our children’s ministry will be blessing us with a Christmas Play. The Rapids will be putting on their yearly Christmas Party on December 7th! We invite all of our youth to come to the party, and bring a friend or two! There will be games, snacks, and a gift exchange. If your youth would like to participate in the exchange, the gifts should be no more than $10 and gender neutral! We can’t wait to see you there! Our Annual Church Meeting will meet at 11:15 am on Sunday, December 3, 2023 in the sanctuary.

This meeting is open to all members at The River (those who have joined the church by attending any of the new member classes that began in March 2023). The purpose of this meeting is to update the congregation of the state of the church following our disaffiliation on July 1, 2023. The church will also vote to adopt the bylaws filed with St Louis County and the State of Missouri and to adopt our new church constitution.

NOVEMBER 5TH, SOUP LUNCHEON. 

Sign-up in the commons area or on the River Web Page. We need helpers, soups and desserts.  All proceeds go towards assisting local families during the Christmas season.

Crafturday scheduled for Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9am-12pm at the River (UPSTAIRS, in the commons area).  Bring your own project (quilting, crocheting, scrapbooking, painting, etc) or sign up to work on making some home-made cards. Sandy White has offered to lead us in making some beautiful cards while showing us some she has from the early 1900’s and providing us with a brief history of how this process has evolved. Pictures and cost of the card-making craft will come later as Sandy finalizes the details. No need to make reservations; come and go as you please.  The only reason you would need to be there right at 9am is if you are doing the craft.

TRUNK OR TREAT!

Save the Date!  Mark your calendars for Friday, Oct 27, from 6-8 pm.  We will be hosting our annual Fall Festival with Trunk or Treat on our South Lot.  Promising to bring all the fun from last year with food, games, crafts, inflatables, and more!  Stay tuned for more details.
