CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE!

Beginning Sunday, November 5, you will see a Christmas tree in the Commons area with gift tags hanging on the tree branches. 

If you are interested in providing a gift for one of the family members, please consider taking one.  Gifts need to be brought to church and put under the tree on or before Sunday, December 10th.

OATS Fund-A-Bus Shoe Drive! (Through Dec 31, 2017)

Women of Worship is partnering with OATS to help with their Fund-A-Bus shoe drive.  

How can you help?  You can donate gently worn, used and new shoes!  (We will have a box in the commons area for your donations.)

OATS, Inc., a Missouri-based non-profit company, is conducting a Fund-A-Bus shoe drive, which will run through the end of this year to raise money for a new bus.  OATS has partnered with Funds2Orgs, who will issue a check for the collected shoes. The money raised will go toward the 20% local match to purchase a new bus.   Click here to learn more information.

Craft Fair to benefit Mission Guatemala

Attention Crafters! Eureka United Methodist Church will be hosting a Craft Fair on December 3, from 9 am to 3 pm. Space for a table/booth is $35. The proceeds go to Mission Guatemala.

2017 EUMC Christmas Cantata!

The EUMC Chancel Choir and children from the JAM (Jesus and Me) Children's Ministry invite you to the 2017 EUMC Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 17th at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary. This will be a wonderful event featuring some of your favorite Christmas songs led by our adult choir and our JAM kids! You are invited to stay afterwards for Christmas cookies, coffee, and hot cocoa in the Commons Area.

EUMC is teaming up with the Eureka Disaster Relief Committee to carry out an adult local mission service project every second Saturday of each month.

Examples of projects include drywall replacement, clean up, flooring, light carpentry etc. The current mission field is rebuilding mobile homes that have been relocated to higher ground at the Laurel Acres trailer park so families can move back in. We will teach you the skills and provide tools so no experience is necessary. We accommodate all schedules and work around your schedule.

WOW Annual Fall Soup-To-Go Event

WoW (Women of Worship) is gearing up for our annual fall Soup-To-Go Event on October 29th.

This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy homemade soups from our friends and all the money raised through event this will go towards adopting crisis nursery families for Christmas.

WOW Fall Coat Drive

Do you have jackets or coats you no longer use? Have your kids out-grown theirs? Please donate them to our Fall Coat Drive!

There is a labeled box in the Commons area where you can place your donation.   Thanks to the many folks who have already dropped off gently used coats.  The coats will go to families using the service of the St. Louis Crisis Nursery.  The coat drive will run through the end of October.

EUMC will be sponsoring Concerts on Central on August 18th.  We are proud to be a part of this amazing community event!  Who is the artist?  The artist is an up and coming Nashville recording artist Clayton Jones.  Clayton is a local artist who used to preform locally at the Solid Rock Cafe (now Sarah's on Central) when he was a High School student.  Here is a preview of his work.  We hope to see you there!

Eagle Lakes Camp at EUMC 9am-4pm (daily)

We are bringing a unique 'camp' experience to Eureka this Summer! We have partnered with Eagle Lakes Camps from Colorado Springs, Colorado; they will be bringing an awesome day camp experience to Eureka July 31-August 4, 2017.

The camp will include highly trained, professional staffing, great programming and Bible teaching, awesome worship , fun team building games, and some amazing activities. Some of these activities include a large rock climbing wall, a bungee jump trampoline, large inflatable water slides, and even (soft tip) archery. Space is limited for this amazing camp experience! Registration fee is $129.00 per camper (through our 200th camper). The registration fee will increase to $179.00 per camper from our 201st camper to our 300th camper. As of May 16th we had just 32 spots remaining at the $129.00 registration fee.
